The Islamia Girls College, Malerkotla was established in 2010 by the Punjab Waqf Board to cater to the educational needs of the girls of Malerkotla. The main aim of the college is to uplift and empower the Muslim girls in particular and all girls of Malerkotla and surrounding areas in general. The college has been instrumental in bringing the much needed educational awareness among the girls of Malerkotla irrespective of their socio-religious background.
